Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner / Scrum Master with strong Healthcare / Health Insurance domain experience to bridge business, technology, and delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing product backlogs and priorities while facilitating Agile/Scrum delivery and ensuring successful execution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Translate healthcare business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.

• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA, data teams, and other technical teams.

• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Track sprint progress, identify and remove impediments, manage dependencies, and drive timely delivery.

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered as expected.

• Ensure solutions align with healthcare business processes, data requirements, compliance, security, and quality standards.

• Manage product risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery priorities.

• Monitor product and Agile delivery metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.

• Support continuous improvement of Agile processes, team performance, and product delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Product Owner and/or Scrum Master.

• Strong Healthcare / Health Insurance domain experience.

• Excellent knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with Jira, product backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements management.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with business, product, architecture, development, QA, and data teams.

• Understanding of APIs, data platforms, system integrations, and enterprise applications.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FHIR, HL7, healthcare data, CMS/Medicare, claims, member data, or provider data.

• Experience working with healthcare payer/provider systems.

• Healthcare cloud or data platform experience.

• Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or healthcare data platforms.

• Experience with SAFe or enterprise Agile environments.

• Certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, SAFe, or Product Owner certification.
