Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their dual role of Product Engineer - Enterprise Knowledge Management, who will focus on the build from end to end as well as managing the Employee Knowledge Management system! This is a 10-12+ month contract and will be remote in the United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • This person is technical and will Build end to end and deliver a comprehensive employee knowledge management system from concept through production handoff
  • Design and develop SharePoint front-end infrastructure with enterprise-grade workflows and reporting capabilities
  • Lead technical implementation using Appian platform to create backend processes for content assessment and workflow automation
  • Integrate AI components to enable automated content assessment and intelligent metadata tagging using Copilot Studio and Claude
  • Manage tagging and migration of 1,000+ known content items plus additional business line documentation
  • Collaborate with product leaders across 15-17 product lines and internal development teams for QA and production deployment
  • Refine and execute against a comprehensive 72-page design document with defined mockups and technical specifications
  • Establish relationships and data structures between procedures, job aids, forms, and enterprise agreements
  • Navigate enterprise SharePoint limitations using Power Automate and alternative technical approaches as needed
  • Prepare platform for seamless handoff to internal FTE who will maintain long-term ownership

What You'll Need to Have:
  • Appian platform experience with ability to develop workflows and leverage Claude AI integration
  • 5+ years of combined product ownership and hands-on technical build experience delivering end-to-end solutions
  • Strong SharePoint development expertise including enterprise implementations and workarounds
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Power BI for reporting and data visualization
  • Experience implementing AI/ML solutions for content management, assessment, or intelligent automation
  • Power Automate expertise for process automation and system integration
  • Technical development background with ability to work independently on complex builds
  • Proven ability to work with extensive technical documentation and refine design specifications
  • Comfort with content structuring, taxonomy development, and knowledge management principles

Pay Range: $120-125+/hr
