Join our Operations Steering and Transformation division as a leader in the role of
Operations Performance & Productivity Lead, North America . Reporting to the Head of Performance & Productivity, you'll be instrumental in optimizing financial management processes and delivering timely reports for North America. As the single point of contact for Travel Operations, you'll streamline processes, consolidate information, and provide strategic insights to senior management.
Leading a high-performing team, this role is integral to driving operational efficiency, fostering harmonization, and supporting Allianz's global strategic goals through effective operations steering and transformation initiatives.
Way of working : This is a U.S. or Canada remote-based position reporting to the Head of Performance and Productivity.
US - Candidates must currently reside in select U.S. states where we are authorized to hire and be legally eligible to work in the US. Current or future sponsorship is not available.
Authorized States: Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
Canada - Must currently reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada.
What you will do: - Monitor financial and non-financial KPIs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive workforce forecasting and capacity planning by translating workload and volume drivers into accurate, validated FTE requirements.
- Own operational cost planning by connecting workload and FTE plans to budget forecasts, business cases, and ongoing financial performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational targets.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for management and regulatory stakeholders.
- Lead and develop a high-performing operations team while promoting Allianz Partners' values and culture.
- Set and track priorities for the Global Lines team, driving performance and engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align strategies, gather data, and support key initiatives.
- Oversee data analysis, KPI tracking, and data visualization to deliver clear, reliable insights.
- Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly and in alignment with our standards for data governance, security, and ethical use.
What you will bring - Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 5+ years proven experience in financial management and operations.
- Proven ability to lead a diverse and high-performing team across different countries
- Strong expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to support effective decision-making.
- Deep understanding of operations, financial controls, and risk management.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and regions.
- Proficiency in overseeing data analysis processes to ensure accuracy, relevance, and reliability of reported information.
- Ability to provide actionable insights and improve decision-making processes through use of Data Analytics tools to include Power BI, SQL
- Python experience preferred
- Proficiency with Excel
- Experience in emerging technologies and responsible AI
What we offer United States: Annualized base pay range is $97,740 - $143,350
Canada: Annualized base pay range is $80,460 - $117,909
Actual base pay may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. Employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses, merit increases, and other incentives based on individual and company performance. The availability and amount of these additional compensation elements are determined by company policy and may vary.
