Genesis10 is currently seeking a SharePoint Service Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, you will lead the roadmap and delivery of SharePoint Service Engineering. You will be responsible for defining requirements, establishing governance standards, and partnering with engineering, operations, and security teams to deliver a stable, scalable, and compliant SharePoint service within a complex financial services environment.
Responsibilities: - Lead the roadmap and delivery of SharePoint SE
- Define requirements, user stories, and core governance standards for SharePoint and enterprise file management platforms
- Partner with engineering, operations, security, and support teams to deliver stable, scalable, and compliant SharePoint services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, gathering needs and aligning priorities across SharePoint use cases
- Drive user adoption through communication, training materials, and large group presentations
- Monitor platform performance, usage trends, and support patterns to identify service improvements and inform the roadmap
- Ensure SharePoint and collaboration services meet regulatory, compliance, and security expectations in a financial services environment
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise SharePoint SE environments, with strong emphasis on SharePoint Service Engineering and production operations across SharePoint
- Experience supporting SharePoint SE within large, complex, or regulated enterprise environments
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering, infrastructure, service engineering, and operations teams
- Ability to analyze logs, metrics, health reports, and support data to diagnose issues and drive platform improvements
- Comfortable acting as a technical authority in architecture reviews, service readiness discussions, and stakeholder forums
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical and operational concepts for non technical audiences
Pay range: $45.63 - $53.63
