Requirements
7 or more years of experience in building enterprise data platforms and data engineering solutions.
Proficiency in AWS Glue and PySpark for large-scale ETL development.
Experience in developing serverless applications and event-driven processing using AWS Lambda.
Experience with Amazon Redshift data warehousing, performance tuning, and advanced SQL analytics.
Experience in Apache Airflow orchestration, AWS DMS replication, and AWS Transfer Family integrations.
Experience with IAM policies, encryption standards, and SOX regulatory compliance in financial environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark for big data processing.
Develop serverless system integrations and event-driven workflows utilizing AWS Lambda.
Optimize Amazon Redshift solutions through stored procedure tuning and complex SQL query analysis.
Lead implementation of secure vendor file transfers and database migration pipelines using DMS.
Design automated orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow to manage production data cycles.
Guide development teams on cloud best practices for data engineering cost and performance optimization.
Partner with architecture and security teams to verify that integration solutions meet SOX requirements.
