Solution Architect (OutSystems & Agentic AI)
Role Summary:
The Solution Architect is responsible for defining the technical vision, architecture, and delivery approach for enterprise applications built on the OutSystems platform. The role provides technical leadership across the solution lifecycle, ensuring applications are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. The architect will also lead the design of AI-powered and Agentic applications that leverage intelligent automation, orchestration, and generative AI capabilities.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect within the OutSystems ecosystem.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
- OutSystems certifications (a plus).
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with OutSystems Traditional Web, Reactive Web, and Mobile applications.
- Deep knowledge of OutSystems architecture, integrations, data modeling, dependency management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and application security.
- Experience designing AI-powered and Agentic applications using LLMs, AI services, workflow orchestration, RAG, and intelligent automation.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture
- Define application architecture, integration patterns, and technical roadmaps for OutSystems solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical standards, and solution blueprints.
- Ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture, security, and integration standards.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
- Establish and enforce development standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments.
- Mentor developers and strengthen technical capabilities across teams.
Solution Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end delivery from design through deployment and operational support.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX, QA, and stakeholders to deliver business value.
- Support estimation, planning, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Agentic AI & Innovation
- Design and govern AI-powered and Agentic applications that improve business processes and user experiences.
- Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate new technologies, AI capabilities, and architectural approaches.
- Define patterns for multi-agent workflows, intelligent decision support, workflow automation, and human-in-the-loop processes.
- Promote adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, data protection, and governance requirements.
- Act as the technical advisor to business stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise architecture teams.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
