We are seeking an AI Engineer – Claude Code & Java Microservices Modernization to work on analyzing and modernizing legacy systems using AI-driven techniques. The role involves leveraging Claude Code for reverse engineering large codebases, extracting business logic, and converting it into clear PRDs and user stories.

You will design and build scalable Java Spring Boot microservices, develop REST APIs, and integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes-based deployments. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in code refactoring, system modernization (rewrite/refactor/replace), and hands-on experience with Git-based workflows and automated testing.

Experience in reverse engineering, AI-assisted development, and understanding of policy administration systems (underwriting, rating, policy engine) is highly desirable.
