Junior Operational Analyst

job summary:

An industry-leading logistics organization is seeking a hands-on Junior Operational Analyst to support high-volume warehouse operations at the Burnville facility. This on-site role focuses on ground-level operational reporting across four different Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) spanning B2B, e-commerce, wholesale, and returns entities.

responsibilities:

• VAS Station Metrics: Generate and pull throughput metrics three times a day for approximately 60 Value Added Service (VAS) stations.
• Shipping Plan Reporting: Run daily shipping plan reports across 10 to 25 destination lanes with varying carton statuses.
• Picking Performance Tracking: Track picking performance across regular and cluster pick statuses.
• Process Improvement Support: Work side-by-side with the business process engineer manager to analyze operational data, support cost analyses, and identify efficiency opportunities.

qualifications:

Experience: Hands-on experience working in warehouse, distribution, and e-commerce environments, with a familiarity across B2B, e-commerce, wholesale, and returns entities.

Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF) and Smartsheet. Previous familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a strong plus.

Education: A college degree is not strictly required as long as the candidate possesses strong, practical hands-on warehouse experience.
