Summary

JD — Senior Hardware Engineer

Location-Remote

Role Summary:
Responsible for the design, development, testing, and qualification of electronic hardware systems. The role involves leading hardware design activities, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electronic hardware, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware design documentation.
  • Perform component selection, circuit analysis, and design calculations.
  • Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation activities.
  • Develop and execute hardware verification and qualification plans.
  • Troubleshoot board-level and system-level hardware issues.
  • Work closely with firmware, software, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams.
  • Support PCB design reviews, design changes, and product improvements.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare technical specifications, test reports, and engineering documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Support prototype development, production transition, and field issue resolution.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
  • Good understanding of microcontrollers, processors, power supplies, sensors, interfaces, and communication protocols.
  • Experience with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM/DFT concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
