Summary

Location-Remote

Role Summary:
Responsible for the design, development, testing, and qualification of electronic hardware systems. The role involves leading hardware design activities, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic hardware, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
Create and review schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware design documentation.
Perform component selection, circuit analysis, and design calculations.
Lead hardware bring-up, debugging, testing, and validation activities.
Develop and execute hardware verification and qualification plans.
Troubleshoot board-level and system-level hardware issues.
Work closely with firmware, software, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams.
Support PCB design reviews, design changes, and product improvements.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Prepare technical specifications, test reports, and engineering documentation.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Support prototype development, production transition, and field issue resolution.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
Good understanding of microcontrollers, processors, power supplies, sensors, interfaces, and communication protocols.
Experience with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and DFM/DFT concepts.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
