Role : Business Intelligence senior Developer/ Tableau Developer
Location - San Antonio, TX / Remote
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Translate business needs into optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Work with large datasets across multiple sources (databases, APIs, cloud platforms) to enable accurate and efficient reporting.
Implement best practices in dashboard design, focusing on usability, performance, and scalability.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineers to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.
Participate in report certification and governance processes to ensure accuracy and data consistency across BI solutions.
Support data validation, testing, and troubleshooting of BI reports and SQL queries.
Contribute to automation and optimization of recurring reports and analytics processes.
Provide user support, documentation, and training for Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions
Required Skills
Advanced SQL programming skills for data analysis, query optimization, and ETL tasks.
Strong expertise in Tableau (Desktop & Server/Cloud), with proven experience in building dashboards and complex visualizations.
Experience integrating Tableau with data warehouses/lakes (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Teradata, BigQuery).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of BI lifecycle and governance, including report certification and metadata usage.
Familiarity with ETL tools and scripting (Python/Alteryx/SSIS) is a plus.
Ability to work in Agile/DevOps environments, collaborating with data engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
