Genesis10 is currently seeking an Associate Business Data Analyst for a contract position with a healthcare industry client. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity. Pay range: $32-35 per Hour w2
The main function of this role is to support data and integration initiatives by analyzing business requirements and translating them into actionable development tickets. The successful candidate will coordinate between business stakeholders and developers, validate solutions through testing, and provide light production support in a highly collaborative environment. This resource will be documenting processes and procedures and will be attending requirements or client meetings.
Responsibilities: - Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
- Convert approved business requirements into detailed development tickets for engineering teams
- Review source-to-target data mappings and analyze data flows to understand required system changes
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to ensure alignment
- Perform testing and validation to confirm delivered solutions meet business requirements
- Provide production support, monitoring data/file loads and escalating issues when needed
- Maintain documentation and notes to support team knowledge sharing and continuity
- Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs
- Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation
Requirements: - 1+ year of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst
- Source-to-target data mapping experience. Academic or professional experience is fine, but needs to be able to provide concrete examples.
- Strong stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills to improve ticket completeness and documentation quality
- Basic SQL querying and data analysis capabilities
- Understanding of data workflows and integration processes
- Knowledge of data analysis tools such as TOAD
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, be curious, and analytical
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
