Senior Product Manager Agentic AI

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Agentic AI to lead the strategy, development, and execution of autonomous and semi-autonomous AI solutions within a highly regulated healthcare environment. This role will focus on transforming manual, operational workflows into intelligent AI-driven systems that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience while maintaining strict compliance, safety, and governance standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong product leadership, technical fluency in AI systems, and experience navigating complex regulatory environments. You will work closely with engineering, data science, clinical, compliance, and business teams to build scalable AI products that drive meaningful operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and own the long-term product roadmap for agentic AI capabilities across the organization
• Identify opportunities to leverage autonomous and semi-autonomous AI solutions to improve customer and operational workflows
• Drive development of personalized digital experiences and intelligent automation capabilities

Workflow Automation & Optimization

• Evaluate manual business processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven workflow transformation
• Break down complex workflows into clear intents, actions, and data dependencies for automation
• Prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and compliance requirements

AI Architecture & Product Execution

• Partner with engineering and data science teams to define AI product architecture and technical requirements
• Support development of systems involving retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool integration, memory frameworks, orchestration layers, and state management
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term platform goals

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure all AI capabilities align with healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and clinical safety standards
• Partner with legal, compliance, and governance teams to ensure proper oversight of AI-driven decisions and workflows
• Maintain auditability, transparency, and risk controls across AI systems

Human-in-the-Loop Design

• Develop frameworks for human oversight, approvals, and escalation paths for AI-generated outputs
• Ensure AI systems maintain reliability, trust, and appropriate intervention controls for critical workflows

Performance Measurement & Optimization

• Define product success metrics and evaluation frameworks for AI performance
• Monitor KPIs related to automation effectiveness, user engagement, resolution accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Continuously optimize product performance through experimentation and feedback loops

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Experience

• 7+ years of product management experience
• 2+ years of experience building AI/ML products, intelligent automation platforms, or generative AI solutions
• Experience leading products from concept through deployment

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI ecosystems
• Familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, or similar platforms
• Understanding of APIs, orchestration layers, memory systems, and AI infrastructure concepts

Product Leadership

• Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, operations, legal, and business teams
• Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building AI solutions in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with healthcare systems, EHR integrations, and FHIR APIs
• Experience building internal AI platforms used across multiple teams
• Knowledge of clinical safety standards and regulated product development environments
