Summary

We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Desktop Support to join our team in Salem, VA. This role is perfect for a hands-on tech professional who enjoys working directly with users in the field and driving innovation through technology.

Position Details

Location: Salem, VA (Candidates must be local to the Roanoke/Salem area).
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM).
Interview Process: Choice of In-Person or Remote (In-Person preferred).
Requirements: Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record (position involves operating a fleet vehicle).

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for field-based staff.
Act as a technology consultant to help users implement innovative tools for daily job functions.
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and manage requests through a tracking system.
(Desired) Create training documentation and provide 1-on-1 tech guidance to staff.

Core Requirements (5+ Years Experience)

Microsoft Expert: Advanced skills in Windows, SharePoint, O365, and MS Teams.
Hardware Pro: Deep experience managing/troubleshooting laptops and wireless devices.
Service-Oriented: A "customer-first" attitude with elite verbal and written communication skills.
Enterprise Savvy: Experience with help desk tracking tools and managing devices in a large-scale environment.
