Primary Responsibilities
Design and develop modern cloud-native applications using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and container-based platforms.
Develop scalable and secure Java-based RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Java/J2EE technologies.
Maintain and enhance existing enterprise applications built using Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Angular, and Microservices Architecture.
Configure, monitor, and optimize application performance using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar monitoring solutions.
Modernize legacy monolithic applications into cloud-native microservices architectures and deploy them to AKS or Azure App Services.
Develop and support new and existing applications utilizing:
Java 17+/Java 21
Spring Boot
Spring MVC
Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
REST APIs
Microservices
OAuth 2.0/ OpenID Connect
JWT Authentication
Kafka/Event Streaming
Angular/React
SQL Databases
Design and implement API security, governance, versioning, and integration patterns.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Manage stakeholder expectations, including key decision-makers and senior management across the organization. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions.
Support CI/CD automation and DevSecOps practices using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
