OverviewWorks directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission, and qualify software solutions.
Responsibilities- The primary focus will be the automation of Test Systems and R&D systems.
- Collaborate with customers to gather system requirements and design system functionality.
- Design applications using LVOOP, Actor Framework (or equivalent).
- Develop and modify complex LabVIEW applications, that use LVOOP and design patterns like Actor Framework, DQMH, or similar.
- Design/develop SQL scripts for SQLite, Microsoft SQL, or MySQL databases.
- Design electrical control panels and instrument wiring diagrams.
- Commission system at customers' sites.
- Train and mentor new engineers.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications- At least 5 years of designing and architecting LabVIEW applications using Actor Framework or equivalent design pattern.
- Certified LabVIEW Architect or equivalent professional experience.
Desired Qualifications- Experience with NI Real-Time programming for embedded targets (cRIO, PXIe).
- Ability to interact with mechanical designers and provide suggestions.
- Experience with Robotics and Vision Inspection Systems.
