About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Software Engineer with strong ETL and data engineering expertise to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and integrations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions for data processing, validation, and integration. This role emphasizes execution and development rather than architecture or design.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration workflows
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and validation
- Build and support systems of record (SORs) and data processing frameworks
- Develop and maintain applications using .NET technologies
- Execute tasks aligned with Jira stories and sprint deliverables
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
- Adapt to evolving technologies and tooling as needed (initial focus on SSIS)
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 6-8 years of software engineering experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with SQL, including:
- Data integration
- ETL processes
- Data validation and transformation
- System of record (SOR) development
- Experience developing applications using .NET
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Python and/or C#
- Experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools
- Background in traditional application development environments
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Jira-based workflows)
