Summary

Position Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid - Local candidate only)

Position Type: Hybrid (Contract)

Interview Process: First Video Than In Person

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain Salesforce applications.
Develop solutions using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce.
Apply strong OOP principles, design patterns, CRUD concepts, and SOQL.
Support existing custom Salesforce applications.
Participate in the development and enhancement of the new CT-KIND system.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Support application integrations and provide technical analysis for integration requirements.
Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements through implementation and maintenance.
Perform application testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Work with the System Integrator to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure effective ongoing application support.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan and accomplish project objectives.
Mentor less experienced developers and provide technical guidance when needed.
Take ownership of development tasks from requirements through implementation.
Apply strong analytical, abstract-thinking, and problem-solving skills to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of overall professional software development experience.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Strong knowledge of design patterns.
Experience with Lightning Pages/Components and Visualforce.
Strong knowledge of SOQL and Salesforce configuration.
Experience with CRUD operations and full-stack development.
Strong experience with .NET OOP and SOA.
Strong SQL experience.
Experience with end-to-end web application development.
Strong C# and JavaScript development experience.
Experience with Web Services and Windows Services.
Strong understanding of responsive design patterns.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
