OverviewWe are seeking an
Electronic Product Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and rework of non-flight electronic hardware in both production and development environments. This role is hands-on and detail-driven, working from build documentation, schematics, and assembly drawings to deliver high-quality electronic products on time and within cost.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys precision work, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and rework non-flight electronic hardware using build documents and assembly drawings (e.g., cable assemblies, chassis, 19" rack assemblies, test aids).
- Perform electronic product assembly, including:
- Wire stripping and crimping
- Connector installation
- Soldering
- Sleeving and grounding schemes
- Accurately interpret electrical drawings, mechanical drawings, and wire lists.
- Identify and troubleshoot hardware issues related to design or workmanship.
- Perform DMM continuity checks and Cirris testing on a variety of cable assemblies.
- Measure, record, and report test data; identify and escalate out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Execute assignments efficiently with attention to cost, schedule, manufacturability, and hardware reuse.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to support a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications- High school diploma required.
- Each higher-level related degree (Associate, Bachelor's, Master's) may substitute for two years of related experience.
- Strong electronic fabrication and assembly skills.
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Read and follow complex schematics and assembly drawings
- Execute test procedures accurately
- Experience using hand tools in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills in a technical setting.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable learning and using basic computer tools for data entry and data queries.
- Willingness to learn and use company process tools (e.g., Agile, Velocity).
- Availability to provide expeditious technical support and work overtime as required.
- Motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with a strong focus on accuracy.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills- DMM continuity testing experience
- Cirris cable testing experience
Certifications & Training- Ability and willingness to be trained and certified in:
- Cleanroom operations
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection
- J-STD-001 Soldering
- IPC-A-620 Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies
Working Conditions- Work may be performed in:
- Office environments
- Laboratories
- Production floors
- Cleanrooms
- Outdoor or remote research environments
- May occasionally work in production areas requiring protective equipment.
- May access multiple facilities and work in various weather conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
