Summary

Job Description:

The Purpose of Your Role as a Software Developer

You'll develop software solutions that help connect and improve how work gets done across Industrialized Construction. This position focuses on building practical tools that support estimating, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and project operations.

Working closely with operational teams, you'll turn real business challenges into scalable software solutions that improve visibility, reduce manual effort, and create more efficient workflows across the organization.

What You'll Be Part Of

You'll work at the intersection of technology and operations, helping build systems that support the entire Industrialized Construction ecosystem.
  • Design and develop internal applications that support manufacturing operations, product configuration, estimating, and supply chain visibility
  • Build integrations, APIs, and automated workflows that improve data flow between business systems and reduce manual processes
  • Leverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted platforms, to accelerate development while maintaining quality, scalability, and maintainability
  • Serve as a key interface between:
    • IC Product, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams
    • Harris Technology (BAIT) as the technical standards authority and approval body for integrations touching enterprise systems, data pipelines, and the Harris technology ecosystem
    • Business Intelligence and Data teams

This position operates within a unique environment where you'll work closely with Industrialized Construction leadership while collaborating with Harris Technology to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy.

What We're Looking For in You
  • Associate's/Bachelor's degree required in computer science or a related technology major
  • Advanced degree preferred required in computer science or a related technology major
  • Experience developing web applications, APIs, and system integrations
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and user-centered design
  • Experience working with Azure cloud technologies and modern development tools
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical software solutions

What This Position Is (and Is Not)

This position is:
  • Focused on building software that supports real operational workflows
  • A blend of software development, systems integration, and process improvement
  • Highly collaborative with business, manufacturing, engineering, and technology teams

This position is not:
  • A purely support or maintenance role
  • Limited to a single application or business function
  • Focused on developing customer-facing software products

Why This Position Stands Out

This position offers the opportunity to help shape how technology supports Industrialized Construction across the organization. You'll work on projects that connect manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and field operations while gaining exposure to a wide range of business processes and systems.

As the company continues to invest in automation, data visibility, and scalable processes, you'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to how those solutions are developed and implemented.

If This Sounds Like You

If you enjoy building practical software, solving complex business problems, and working closely with the people who use the tools you create, we'd like to connect.

We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how a business operates, values collaboration, and wants to build solutions that make a measurable impact
