Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing robust cloud solutions across multiple platforms, including AWS and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and cloud services, with a proven track record of leading complex projects in large-scale environments. This position is available in Alpharetta (GA), Roseland (NJ), or Norfolk (VA), although remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy cloud solutions across AWS and Azure, ensuring efficient operation and meeting the technical requirements of the organization.
  • Lead the automation of cloud services through Cloud Orchestration tools to enhance the stability and scalability of system architecture.
  • Develop strategic network security measures, including the implementation of advanced network security products and protocols.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within a multi-cloud environment, advising on best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT staff and business stakeholders to align network security technologies with broader business goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships to select and procure appropriate technology solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Document all architecture designs and modifications, maintaining clear and comprehensive records of the network's structure and security measures.
  • Participate in all phases of network development, from initial concept through design, implementation, and support.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Network Security, focusing on architecture, design, and engineering.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including hands-on experience with their respective networking services and tools.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, as well as experience with Geneve encapsulation.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement strategic solutions to complex technical challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with network virtualization and advanced network security technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Arista, CISSP, or other industry-recognized credentials are highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is strongly preferred.
