Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Compensation: $130,000-150,000/yearly

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in motor drive and motion control systems. This role is ideal for an experienced, hands-on engineer who thrives in product development environments and has strong capabilities in power electronics, hardware design, and embedded firmware development. The successful candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept and schematic capture through PCB layout, firmware development, validation, and production support.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop motor drive and motion control systems
- Lead power electronics design efforts, including switching power supplies, inverters, and drive circuits
- Create and review detailed hardware schematics and support PCB layout activities
- Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems
- Perform circuit analysis, validation testing, debugging, and root cause analysis
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (UL, IEC, CE, EMI/EMC considerations)
- Generate and maintain technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, design reports, and product documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and applications teams
- Provide technical support for production and customer integration when required
Required Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE minimum)
- 5+ years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Strong background in motor and motion control systems
- Experience designing power electronics (switching supplies, motor drives, inverters)
- Proven experience with hardware schematic capture and PCB design
- Embedded firmware development experience using C/C++ on microcontrollers
- Hands-on debugging and troubleshooting experience at the board level
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with DSPs, ASICs, or advanced microcontroller architectures
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, CE)
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI design and mitigation techniques
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherCAT, CANopen)
- Prior involvement in new product development from concept through production
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Estimated Min Rate: $105000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $150000.00
