Summary

Location: Remote

A Software Engineer III is responsible for the analysis, design, coding, component assembly, testing, and maintenance of system and application software. Software Engineers participate in production support, enhancements, and new development initiatives while ensuring high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Design and develop high-volume, high-performance applications for mission-critical systems with high availability and reliability.
Contribute independently or collaboratively throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Write well-designed, efficient, maintainable, and testable code.
Deliver solutions aligned with product backlogs and user requirements.
Deliver high-quality software releases on schedule.
Continuously evaluate technical alternatives and emerging technologies to improve development practices.

As business needs continue to grow, additional improvements are required to increase automation, improve development efficiency, and support long-term scalability.

Reduce or eliminate manual review of business process documentation by implementing automated and guided workflows.
Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve development efficiency and software release processes.
Explore the development of an Agentic AI solution capable of operating 24/7 to assist software engineers by generating maintainable, best-practice code.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor who can quickly understand existing business functionality and application infrastructure, including both hardware and software components. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with business and technical teams to resolve software design and implementation challenges.
Evaluate, utilize, and lead AI/ML initiatives to accelerate software development and product enhancements.
Collaborate with Product, QA, and Data teams to define requirements and AI feature behavior.
Develop business processes and software solutions using excellent communication skills.
Create application designs that meet functional and technical standards.
Gather and interpret user requirements into detailed design specifications.
Develop system specifications and interface designs.
Estimate development effort and prepare implementation schedules.
Develop new features, enhancements, and production fixes following industry best practices.
Participate in and conduct structured code reviews and walkthroughs.
Design and support software testing prior to deployment.
Provide on-call production support as required.
