Summary

Seeking an Engineering Laboratory Technician to support product testing, laboratory operations, and quality compliance in an accredited testing environment. This role is responsible for executing test plans, maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and supporting product development activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory testing, electrical product development, equipment calibration, and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee laboratory testing activities for electrical products and development projects.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and document test procedures and resolve testing issues.
  • Analyze, document, and report test results within an A2LA ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • Support and oversee equipment calibration, maintenance, inspection, and testing equipment readiness.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and quality standards.
  • Interpret and apply IEC standards related to EMC, Safety, Climatic, and Mechanical Testing.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits and support corrective actions and procedure updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory process enhancements.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure project schedules and testing milestones are achieved.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment and electrical product development.
  • Experience with PLC products, laboratory testing, and technical documentation preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, A2LA accreditation, IEC standards, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
  • Experience supporting quality management systems and audit activities.
  • Proficiency with SAP preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., travel as required, and maintain a valid driver''s license.
