Network Engineer
Role Overview:
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco networking technologies. The role ensures reliable network connectivity, high performance, and strong security across LAN, WAN, and hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure, manage, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
Design and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement and manage routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and QoS.
Configure and maintain network security including ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, and IPsec tunnels.
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and NetFlow.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
Support hybrid and cloud networking environments.
Document network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and subnetting.
Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment.

Preferred Skills:

Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets).
Experience with network monitoring and documentation tools.
