Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud WMS Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. The architect will be responsible for aligning warehouse business processes with Oracle Cloud WMS capabilities, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and integrated warehouse solutions across the Oracle SCM landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Oracle Cloud WMS solutions.
- Define warehouse process flows including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, cross-docking, and returns.
- Design scalable solutions for high-volume and complex warehouse environments.
- Configure and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS modules.
- Integrate Oracle Cloud WMS with other Oracle SCM modules:
- Inventory Management
- Order Management
- Transportation Management (OTM)
- Procurement
- Manufacturing
- Lead integration design using OIC, REST APIs, BIP, and middleware.
- Drive data migration, master data setup, and warehouse configuration strategies.
- Provide architectural guidance on RF/mobile transactions, labeling, barcode scanning, and automation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate warehouse requirements into technical solutions.
- Define security, roles, and access controls for WMS users.
- Support testing strategies (SIT, UAT), cutover planning, and go-live.
- Act as a technical escalation point during production support.
- Mentor functional and technical team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS.
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Proven experience as an Oracle WMS Architect or Lead.
- Solid experience with Oracle SCM Cloud architecture.
- Expertise in integrations (OIC, REST/SOAP services, BIP reports).
- Experience with high-volume distribution centers and complex fulfillment models.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
