Title: Service Supplier Development Engineer (Senior Quality Supplier Engineer – Service)

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% International Travel
Working Hours: 8 hours daily (may be outside standard business hours)

The primary focus of this role is Service Part PPAP approvals while supporting Rivian''s global supply chain and working with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier quality, manufacturing readiness, and successful production launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Part PPAP approvals
- Engage with suppliers for industrialization and manufacturing readiness
- Drive APQP discipline and enforce PPAP requirements
- Support supplier selection and capability assessments
- Conduct process audits, PFMEA reviews, control plan validation, and Run@Rate assessments
- Track supplier industrialization KPIs and readiness
- Resolve supplier quality and manufacturing issues using structured problem-solving methodologies
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support manufacturing and quality objectives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with approving PPAP and coordinating PPAP
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, CAPA, Lean Manufacturing, and Traceability requirements
- Experience with automotive component manufacturing
- Knowledge of GD&T and datum structures
- Experience with extrusion and fabrication commodities
- Understanding of IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
- VDA 6.3 knowledge preferred
- Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
