Desktop Support Technician to join our End User Services team in
North Austin. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, face-to-face technical support and thrives in a collaborative, people-centric environment.
What You'll Do- Provide day-to-day onsite support for end users
- Deliver in-person troubleshooting for Windows and Mac devices
- Maintain data accuracy within the asset management system
- Refresh End-of-Life (EOL) systems & support hardware lifecycle management
- Provision computer assets for new hires
- Assist with remediation of unhealthy SMS and antivirus clients
- Support video conferencing and teleconferencing equipment
- Review and fulfill end-user hardware requests
- Represent the IT team in global device and service improvement projects
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees on tech best practices
- Provide quick, confident issue resolution in a walk-up support environment
- Learn, adopt, and help train users on emerging technologies
Top Required Skills- 2+ years of professional onsite Desktop Support experience (Face-to-face support required-no phone-only support)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across both Windows and Mac environments
- Customer-facing background, such as: walk-up support, support desk, retail tech support
Nice to Have- Active Directory experience
- Strong customer service orientation
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, VPN, WLAN/LAN, and TCP/IP
- Understanding of client imaging, deployment, and testing
- Experience with iOS and Android device support
- Exposure to medium-large enterprise environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
