Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Analyst to join a fast-paced team focused on managing statewide technology acquisitions.
In this position, you will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and vendors, ensuring that all IT procurement processes-from hardware to software services-comply with state regulations and deliver maximum value.
Core Skills You Bring:
- Procurement Lifecycle: Proven experience managing IFBs (Invitations for Bid), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and RFIs.
- Compliance Expert: Deep understanding of public sector procurement laws and regulations.
- Negotiation: Skilled at managing vendor relationships, contract amendments, and service terms.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.
- Bonus Points: Certification as a Virginia Contracting Associate (VCA) or Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO) and experience with Cardinal/e VA systems.
