Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to oversee complex, enterprise-wide initiatives from a remote standpoint. This long-term contract position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, a structured approach to managing processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring project alignment, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Define the program's roadmap, scope, and long-term objectives to align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of workstreams.
Manage a team of project managers working on large-scale projects and provide guidance to maintain operational excellence.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of project rollouts.
Prepare executive-level reports and communicate project updates, risks, and achievements to stakeholders.
Identify potential roadblocks and proactively address them, ensuring smooth project execution.
Optimize processes and maintain contingency plans to mitigate risks.
Ensure teams remain unblocked by addressing resource allocation challenges and escalating issues when necessary.
Serve as the primary conduit between project managers and leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to best practices in program management.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management.
Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and tools.
Strong knowledge of program management office (PMO) practices and principles.
Experience with application integration, API gateways, and API specifications.
Familiarity with tools like monday.com and scope management documentation.
Proven ability to manage scope, timelines, and resources effectively.
Skilled in executive reporting and stakeholder communication.
Ability to identify risks and forecast issues before they arise.
