We are looking for a senior, hands-on Veeva CRM Technical Architect to lead the technical transition from Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to Veeva Vault CRM.
The ideal candidate will have deep Veeva CRM/Vault CRM architecture experience, strong integration strategy and implementation expertise, and hands-on experience with enterprise release management, DevOps, QA, validation, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture for migration from Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to Vault CRM.
- Define the migration strategy, target architecture, deployment approach, and technical controls.
- Design and implement integration strategies across the Veeva ecosystem and connected enterprise systems.
- Define repeatable processes for moving configurations and changes across development, QA, validation, and production environments.
- Improve DevOps, release management, development, deployment, QA, validation, and production support practices.
- Design and improve Veeva deployment packages and environment-promotion procedures.
- Partner with QA teams to establish appropriate controls, validation procedures, and release practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the migration program.
- Coach internal technical resources on Veeva CRM/Vault CRM architecture, deployment, support, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with business, technical, QA, data, and implementation teams.
- Help establish a scalable and sustainable operating and support model for the Veeva platform.
Required Skills
- Deep hands-on experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault CRM architecture.
- Strong integration strategy and implementation experience.
- Experience with Veeva CRM migrations, preferably Salesforce-based Veeva CRM to Vault CRM.
- Strong knowledge of Veeva deployment packages, environment promotion, release operations, and platform maintenance.
- Experience establishing DevOps and release-management processes for enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of QA, validation, deployment controls, and production-support processes.
- Experience designing technical operating models and improving development and release procedures.
- Ability to provide hands-on architecture leadership while mentoring internal teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Technical Environment
The environment includes Veeva CRM/Vault CRM, promotional materials, ETM, REP, QMS, EDC, Drupal, Reltio MDM, SAP, Veeva OpenData, enterprise data pipelines, and an enterprise data lake.
The CRM platform supports approximately 500 users, including territory managers, marketing teams, and medical communications stakeholders.
Preferred Background
Experience working with Veeva platforms within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or other regulated environments is strongly preferred.
