Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
• Demonstrated knowledge of EA Frameworks, Methodologies, and Bodies of Knowledge – TOGAF, Business Architecture Guild (BizBok) and DAMA (DMBok) a plus.
• Well-grounded in state-of-the-art principles of architectural modeling, event-driven architecture, enterprise information management, and software design and development.
•Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of large-scale Rail Transportation system modernization in an enterprise setting.
•Broad IT experience in technologies ranging from IBM Mainframe & TPF to Java and Spring-based microservices in event-driven system architectures.
•Demonstrated success at delivering solutions that solve multi-domain business problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
•Requires fifteen+ years of experience in multiple IT areas and ten+ years of relevant technology architecture experience.
• Experience defining and implementing solutions for rail transportation companies is required.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•5 years+ knowledge of and practicing experience with SAFe.
We need someone to bridge the conceptual to technical architecture, as it pertains to microservices, integration patterns, cloud patterns, etc., including event-driven implementations and APIs, with a broad understanding of the engineering processes that go into achieving the end product/delivery.
