Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Stripe payments, subscription billing, and ledger reconciliation to join our fintech-focused team. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in Django and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) patterns, capable of independently managing ops-critical reconciliation tasks, and excited about building robust systems that directly impact financial product operations. Familiarity with card issuing workflows, fraud signal integration, and mobile payment technologies is a strong plus.

Responsibilities/Deliverables:
  • Own and execute ledger reconciliation processes, including syncing Lithic, CFSB, and Checkout invoices against internal ledgers.
  • Implement per-user lifetime value (LTV) tracking and risk metrics within the ledger system.
  • Complete Sardine integration by developing penalty box rules for fraud signals such as burst card creation and auto-debit disablement.
  • Finalize and rollout the deposit attribution feature including dashboard views and client UI behind a feature flag.
  • Provide engineering support for Magnitude physical card delivery ahead of critical early June milestones.
  • Prepare clear handoff documentation to support smooth knowledge transfer for upcoming team transitions.

Ideal Candidate
  • Proficient in Django and Python, with firm grasp of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) patterns and modular codebases.
  • Senior level full stack engineering experience with strong practical knowledge of Stripe as the primary payment processor.
  • Production experience with subscription billing and ledger systems, especially in fintech environments (strong preference).
  • Proven ability to independently manage and own ops-critical reconciliation and financial workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Lithic and CFSB card issuing platforms; familiarity with Lion Card for physical cards preferred.
  • Experience with Sardine or similar fraud signal integrations and SFTP data flows.
  • Comfortable navigating complex backend modular architecture

The estimated pay range for this position is USD $75.00/hr - USD $90.00/hr.
