Role and Responsibilities- Perform semiconductor engineering research, design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry.
- Develop CAD flows for custom design on aggressive GPU designs with a high level of automation for DTCO needs.
- Navigate the unknown through innovation and continuous learning.
- Explore methodologies to achieve low-power and high-performance goals for Samsung-specific SOC design styles.
- Solve CAD and design methodology-related challenges.
- Engage in a production and result-oriented environment, working on high-impact, large-scale projects that have a global impact.
- Work effectively with various stakeholders by using clear and precise communication skills for technical requirements and specifications, while proactively driving collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide and maintain thorough documentation, publish results, and fulfill other project management-related needs.
Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field plus nine (9) years of experience in a related occupation with each of the following: custom design tools and methodology development; working with batch run oriented environments for design space exploration and high throughput; scripting/programming languages like Tcl, Perl, C/C++; and analyzing and extracting information from large data sets and applying the insights to different situations.
Alternate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and eleven (11) years of experience in a related occupation with each of the following: custom design tools and methodology development; working with batch run oriented environments for design space exploration and high throughput; scripting/programming languages like Tcl, Perl, C/C++; and analyzing and extracting information from large data sets and applying the insights to different situations.
Total RewardsAt Samsung - SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $220,000.00 - $270,400.00 Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
