8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience, strong Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration expertise, and experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.Position Overview
As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. This role requires strong technical expertise in infrastructure administration, cloud services, identity management, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
- Manage and optimize virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, databases, and cloud services.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Dynamics, and licensing.
- Support Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and certificate services.
- Monitor system performance, utilization, capacity, and overall health.
- Maintain Windows and Linux server environments across physical and virtual platforms.
- Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide advanced escalation support.
- Collaborate with networking, development, and security teams to deploy and maintain enterprise solutions.
- Apply operating system updates, patches, and security enhancements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and infrastructure solutions to support business needs.
- Participate in an off-hours support rotation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Technical Experience
Candidates should possess experience across several of the following enterprise technologies and infrastructure domains:
- Microsoft Azure Administration, Infrastructure Services, and Cloud Operations
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform environments
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise Services and Tenant Administration
- Identity and Access Management, including Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
- Windows Server and Enterprise Linux Administration
- Hybrid Infrastructure Design, Deployment, and Operational Support
- Virtualization Platforms and Private Cloud Technologies
- Enterprise Networking Concepts, including DNS, DHCP, Routing, and Connectivity Services
- Infrastructure Security, Access Governance, and Compliance Controls
- Backup, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery Solutions
- Systems Monitoring, Performance Optimization, and Capacity Planning
- Enterprise Storage Technologies and Data Protection Strategies
