  • Senior Software Engineer, IT Asset Management
  • Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
  • This is a unique opportunity for a full-stack developer with a rich background in technology infrastructure and technology operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have transitioned from a role such as a Database Administrator, Windows/Unix Administrator, Storage Administrator, Messaging Administrator, or Network Administrator to a proficient Angular and Java developer.
  • Candidate's deep, hands-on experience in managing and overseeing the very systems candidate will now be developing for will be your greatest asset.
  • This role is for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions that are hyper-focused on what works, and what doesn't, in real-world technology setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end development of web applications and services that support IT Asset Management. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Development & Design - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust full-stack applications using Angular and Java. - Play a crucial role in the entire development lifecycle, from designing the user interface to managing server infrastructure. Build and style visually appealing and functionally robust interactive web pages and websites.
  • Infrastructure & Operations Focus - Leverage your deep understanding of technology infrastructure (Linux, virtualization, containers, etc.) to inform and guide software design and development. - Develop solutions that automate IT Asset Management, improving efficiency and reliability. - Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new technologies.
  • Collaboration & Leadership - Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver on the product roadmap. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. - Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Quality & Performance - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Anticipate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in both front-end and back-end code.
  • Ensure all software is designed with security, data integrity, and performance in mind.
Required Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidate will need a unique blend of software development expertise and infrastructure knowledge:
  • Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Proficiency in Angular and Java, with a deep understanding of the entire technology stack.
A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a technology infrastructure role, such as:
  • Database Administrator (DBA)
  • Windows or Unix/Linux Administrator
  • Storage Administrator
  • Messaging Administrator
  • Network Administrator
  • A demonstrated understanding of the challenges and complexities of technology infrastructure, and a passion for solving them with software.
  • Experience with modern development tools and practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • While not required, the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps role.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Financial Services - Nice to have
In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4 plus years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Location - Iselin (Preferred) , Charlotte- CIC AND CHANDLER
  • Intv- Video - 1 PANEL
  • In-Office requirement - 3 days/week - 8 hours

Pay Range: $50.00 - 60.00/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
