We are undergoing a massive digital transformation that is focused on the API ecosystem. We are looking for an seeking an experienced API Gateway Engineer to help with our API strategy. This person will be focused specifically within API Gateway (Apigee) which will allow us to continue to drive innovation and enabling seamless connectivity across their global operations. Day to day responsibilities include leading engineering efforts to deploy new features and maintenance to ensure that APIs are always on. They will design, build and automate API Gateways utilizing SRE as well as develop application software using the cloud-based architecture across the full stack of technologies. The manager loves the pace of the work for the team, it's ongoing and constant. They're at the forefront of a lot of issues with applications that utilize their services (API Gateway.) They are wrapping up the migration to limit the blast radius on the downslope so for example, if there is an outage that it doesn't take everything down and just small segments within the business.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
