RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Project Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Stamford, CT.
Summary:
This Project Manager focuses on the Cox integration technical and project management support needed to manage, develop and deploy all related Cox programs. This support includes any Day 0 requests, Spectrum Day and beyond.
Team Overview:
* Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation
* Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures
* Project Manager will develop project plan and drives project milestones
* Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders
* Provides day-to-day direction to project resources
* As a Project Manager, you will ensure effective change management that occurs throughout the course of the project
* Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets
Typical Day:
* 50% Project Mgt (Leading project meetings, ad hoc meetings/phone calls)
* 40% Documentation and Reporting (Jira updates, meeting minutes, email messages follow-up on tasks/decisions via IM and email)
* 10% Administration (Scheduling meetings, emails, BPMO calls & HR tasks)
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5-10 years of experience
* Specialized knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, Word
* Proficient with PC and software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and software development lifecycle tools and processes (Agile or Scrum methodologies, Business Analysis, Project Management, Product Ownership, Jira, etc.)
* Excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
