Desktop Deployment Technician (Part-Time - 20 Hours a week) (Contract Role)

Overview
We are seeking a Desktop Deployment Technician to support a large-scale end-user device deployment for an enterprise customer. This engagement supports the first wave of approximately 2,900 end-user deployments, with additional scaling underway. The schedule is driven by end-user requests and will fluctuate based on deployment volume.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level technician looking to gain hands-on experience working with enterprise-level environments, hardware rollouts, and end-user support.
Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, and configure Windows-based end-user devices
• Image systems and perform hardware/software installations
• Troubleshoot hardware and desktop issues (Windows 10 primarily)
• Manage assets, inventory, and deployment tracking
• Provide professional, customer-focused support during device handoffs
• Follow deployment processes, documentation, and instructions precisely

Schedule Details

• Hours per week: 20-25
• Weekly schedule:
  • 2-3 weekdays between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • 1 late day per week working until 7:00 PM

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
