Senior iOS Developer – Swift & AI Applications

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior iOS Developer to design and develop high-quality, customer-facing mobile applications using Swift. The role will focus on building modern iOS experiences while integrating backend services and AI-powered capabilities such as conversational interfaces, recommendations, and personalized experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance native iOS applications using Swift and iOS SDK.
• Build customer-facing features including chatbot, conversational, product discovery, recommendation, and guided shopping experiences.
• Integrate iOS applications with REST APIs, backend services, and AI-enabled platforms.
• Design scalable and reusable mobile architecture and components.
• Manage application state, session context, asynchronous operations, and error handling.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, AI engineers, architects, and QA teams.
• Optimize application performance, stability, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, technical planning, and production support.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support CI/CD processes and App Store releases.
• Mentor other engineers and promote iOS development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and native iOS development.
• Experience designing scalable, modular mobile application architectures.
• Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, application lifecycle, navigation, state management, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with authentication, session management, secure data handling, and error management.
• Experience developing large-scale, customer-facing mobile applications.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with iOS testing and UI automation frameworks.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD and App Store deployment processes.
• Ability to make architecture decisions while remaining hands-on with development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience building chatbot, messaging, virtual assistant, or conversational experiences.
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered applications.
• Experience with recommendation, personalization, search, or digital commerce platforms.
• Experience handling streaming or real-time responses.
• Knowledge of analytics, experimentation, feature flags, and remote configuration.
• Experience with mobile observability, logging, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Experience supporting high-traffic consumer applications.
• Experience with enterprise mobile design systems and automated App Store delivery.
