Lab Engineer (W2 Position)

The following requirement is open with our client.

Rate                                       : $47/hr on W2

Job Description:

1)National Instruments Lab Windows CVI (2012 and above) running on Windows 10 Enterprise

2) Hands on experience with NI Test Stand for Test sequence development |debugging and execution Integration of LabWindowsCVI code modules Test automation framework| result management| and reporting

3) Strong experience with NI hardware platforms| including NI DAQ PXI PXIe Compact RIO (cRIO) Compact DAQ (cDAQ) SCXI

4) Experience in instrument control and automation| including DMM CRO Oscilloscope Function Generator Programmable Power Supply (PPS) Other standard test and measurement instruments Familiarity with a. Resistance (2-wire 4-wire).Frequency measurement. Transient waveform behavior

5) Experience with communication interfaces| including RS 232 RS 485 USB Ethernet TCP IP GPIB

6) Experience in report generation and data logging| including Automated test report generation (Excel| CSV| PDF| HTML| etc.) Test results analysis and formatting for customer deliverables

7) Experience with database integration| including Storing and retrieving test data from relational databases SQL based data access (ODBC OLE DB) from LabWindowsCVI and TestStand

8) Experience in DLL level components System level dependencies

9) Validate compatibility of updated CVI applications| TestStand sequences| and NI drivers with connected test hardware and fixtures

10) Identify and resolve issues in logic and conflicts arising from CVI| TestStand| driver| and OS upgrades

11) Perform system level testing| ensure stability and performance post upgrade| and prepare validation reports

12) Prepare system software documentation| TestStand documentation| and change notes
