This role involves the design and construction of scalable data management systems. The Senior Data Engineer III will ensure all data systems meet company requirements and will research new uses for data acquisition. A comprehensive understanding of the industry, including data mining practices, algorithms, and data applications, is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
- Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
- Ensure all systems meet business requirements and align with industry practices.
- Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
- Develop set processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Research new applications for existing data.
- Employ a variety of technological languages and tools to connect systems.
- Collaborate with team members, including data architects and data scientists, on project goals.
- Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
- Recommend methods to improve data reliability and quality.
Required Qualifications
Education: A technical degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Technical Skills:- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, MongoDB).
- Experience programming or architecting with a back-end language (e.g., Java, J2EE).
- Business Intelligence - Data Engineering.
