This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level professional looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic environment.

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior .NET / AWS Engineer to join our team in the McKinney, Texas area. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in AWS cloud services and .NET development, along with solid integration experience. Experience in the Life Insurance domain and familiarity with Resonant are highly desirable. This role requires a technically strong professional with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support scalable applications using .NET technologies.
  • Architect and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services.
  • Lead and contribute to system integration efforts across platforms and applications.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices guidance to team members.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in .NET technologies.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.).
  • Proven experience with application and system integrations (APIs, REST services, messaging, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Life Insurance domain.
  • Experience in modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong collaboration and teamwork mindset.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and accountable.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
