Database Developer (Snowflake & PostgreSQL)

We are seeking a Database Developer with 8+ years of experience and strong expertise in Snowflake and PostgreSQL. The role focuses on database development, performance optimization, and data warehouse management, working closely with data and application teams to support scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects

• Design and manage data models and Snowflake data warehouse structures

• Perform performance tuning and query optimization for large datasets

• Implement data security, access controls, and backup/recovery strategies

• Collaborate with data engineers, application teams, and stakeholders

• Support database deployments, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and data integrity issues

• 8+ years of hands-on database development experience

• Strong experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL

• Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries, optimization, indexing)

• Experience in data modeling and performance tuning

• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines

• Knowledge of data warehousing best practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD or database automation tools
