Summary

*Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC, will be required to report onsite daily to a federal agency office in the DC area in the near future.*

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SPM, HRSD, FSM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Mobile Agent. The role requires hands-on experience delivering scalable, secure, and upgrade-safe solutions using ServiceNow best practices, with a strong focus on automation, integration, and user experience. The ideal candidate partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into reliable platform solutions that improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and end-user satisfaction. Responsibilities include developing Business Rules, Client Scripts, Flow Designer workflows, Service Catalog items, CMDB models, portals, and mobile experiences; implementing REST/SOAP integrations; supporting releases, testing, and upgrades; and enforcing platform governance and quality standards. The role also provides technical leadership through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring. Required qualifications include deep ServiceNow development experience, strong JavaScript skills, knowledge of ITIL and Agile practices, and relevant ServiceNow certifications (CSA and CAD preferred).

Basic Required Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • 4+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions
  • 3+ years' experience in CSM or ITSM with deployed Custom Application Development
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

  • MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.) as this work is for a federal contract, and laws do apply.

Desired Skills
  • 5+ years' experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
  • 3+ year experience scripting beyond basic ServiceNow scripts
  • 3+ year experience in Agile Scrum
  • Active FCC or GSA government clearance
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
  • Strong technical skills, including workflow configuration, and business rule development.
  • Certified in one or more additional mainline certifications, with preference for

    • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Human Resources
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Customer Service Management
    • Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery

  • Strong technical skills in developing integrations for ServiceNow applications
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices
