Summary

Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer (7 10 Years Experience)

Location: Edgewater, FL

Responsibilities

Lead Manufacturing Engineering initiatives to improve productivity, labor efficiency, and manufacturing performance.
Conduct detailed time studies, work measurement, and labor analysis to establish standard work and optimize cycle times.
Perform line balancing, workload distribution, and manpower planning to support takt time and production goals.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through waste elimination, process optimization, and labor reduction initiatives.
Analyze production data to improve throughput, capacity utilization, Productivity improvement areas.
Develop and optimize manufacturing layouts, material flow, workstation design, and ergonomics.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing manufacturing processes, line setups, and production readiness plans.
Lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
Develop standard work, work instructions, labor standards, and process documentation.
Perform capacity planning and identify manufacturing constraints and bottlenecks.
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP).
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to implement sustainable process improvements.
Present productivity metrics, labor utilization, and cost reduction opportunities to leadership.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5 8 years of Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

High-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
Fiberglass, marine, automotive, heavy equipment, or aerospace manufacturing.
Production launch and New Product Introduction (NPI).
Experience supporting takt time improvements and labor optimization.
