ECS is seeking a Knowledge Management Engineer - Junior to support the Army National Guard's mission in delivering robust enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity services in Fairfax, VA. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Task 4 - Enterprise Operations Support - provides 24/7/365 network monitoring, control, and management from the RCC-ARNG Network Operations Center (NOC) over classified and unclassified networks, delivering DoDIN services including data, voice, and video across the ARNG's distributed enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in configuring knowledge management repositories to support enterprise solutions.
  • Update metadata and maintain workflows to ensure alignment with operational standards.
  • Standardize documentation processes to enhance knowledge asset accessibility.
  • Monitor platform performance regularly to ensure system integrity and efficiency.
  • Support content organization efforts to maintain a coherent taxonomy structure.
  • Collaborate under senior guidance to align knowledge assets with configuration management protocols.
  • Participate in audit readiness and information governance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and ARNG policies regarding knowledge management.


Required Skills

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in knowledge management within DoD or Federal environments
  • Experience with repository configuration and metadata management
  • Familiarity with workflow updates and documentation standardization
  • Proven ability to perform routine platform monitoring
  • Experience in supporting audit readiness and information governance


Desired Skills

Desired Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active Secret preferred
  • Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms
  • Knowledge of DoD 8140 alignment, specifically 431-Knowledge Manager, Basic
  • Understanding of ARNG and DoD operational environments
  • Skills in taxonomy alignment and content organization
  • Familiarity with configuration management practices
