About This Role We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Perform a variety of engineering assignments related to new product development and/or enhancement of existing products
- Creation and maintenance of engine bill of materials (BOM)
- Review engineering changes / revisions to both engineering procedures and drawings
- Create and execute engineering change orders (ECOs) using PLM software
- Consult with customers on designs and specifications
- Assist ODA group with FAA certification effort
- Coordinate activities with Director, Configuration Management and Regulations to ensure business and development goals will be achieved
- May be required to interface with suppliers
Qualifications - Actively pursuing BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T drafting standards
- BOM creation / maintenance using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- Teamwork approach, presentation skills, ability to resolve conflicts
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with high attention to detail
