Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Onsite)

Role Overview
The selected candidate will be part of a team that performs daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of network systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment. The position requires providing first-level technical support, performing initial troubleshooting of network hardware and software, and documenting all events and issues. This role involves rotating 24x7 shift work, with assignments to a 12-hour shift determined by mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local network hardware and software.
- Document and report all events/issues and receive tasking and direction for all operations and test events.
- Assist in all network hardware/software installations as directed by local subject matter experts.
- Create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Generally has 1+ years of related experience. Position requires rotating 24x7 shift work, including nights and weekends.
Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance as a condition or continuation of employment.
Technical Skills:- Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP). Candidate will be responsible for maintaining this certification.
- Knowledge of Network concepts: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management, and monitoring.
- Knowledge of management and monitoring tools and techniques for various network infrastructure components.
- Knowledge of monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools, including virtualization technologies such as VMWare vCenter and vSphere.
- Practical experience with remote access software such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP.
- Knowledge of OSPF, Cisco IOS, and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting.
- Experience in Windows Server maintenance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and practical experience in the usage of network management tools.
- Familiarity with encryption devices.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix Server maintenance.
- Experience liaising with other agencies and associated network operations organizations.

Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay range for this position is $50.00/hr to $65.00/hr. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role.
