Job Description

The Support Services Project Manager/Specialist will provide financial review, billing audit, and technical project support for the AT&T Legacy Services Conversion (C2C) initiative. The role focuses on telecommunications billing accuracy, compliance, staff training, VoIP implementations, and modernization of emergency communication services through E911 and HELD Protocol initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and administrative support to ensure C2C project milestones are achieved.
  • Conduct comprehensive network, voice service, and telecom billing audits.
  • Develop and deliver training on communications billing audit procedures and compliance.
  • Lead and train staff on complex VoIP service implementations.
  • Support HELD Protocol migrations to modernize emergency location services (E911).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of telecommunications experience.
  • Advanced understanding of telecom vendors, services, and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of AT&T services, Centrex, telecom infrastructure, and billing.
  • Experience supporting telecommunications services for State government agencies.
  • Strong background in financial and billing audits, invoice reconciliation, and cost savings.
  • Extensive VoIP implementation experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of E911 regulations, best practices, and network infrastructure.
  • Must reside within the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Area.
