Senior Java Developer for a
CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier
Regulatory clients in
Rockville, MD .
Summary: Looking for a Senior Developer for a contract role. The Developer will be working with the team to enhance enterprise level platforms. Successful candidates will be strong software developers with high-level knowledge Java fundamentals, SQL, Spring/Springboot, and AWS.
Responsibilities: - Work with product owners and architects to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Develop solutions that are highly available, durable, scalable, and cost efficient.
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 12 years' experience in Java.
- Significant experience with
- JAVA core fundamentals
- SQL
- Spring/Springboot
- SOAP and REST
- Experience with AWS is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, databases and operating systems.
Tools and Technologies: - Java & J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST API,
- SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL(Aurora)
- Amazon Web Services
Highly Preferred Tools and Technologies: - DevOps skills (i.e. Docker, Jenkins Jobs, Continuous Integration exp., etc.)
